Laxmi Rai (Maya)
Spiritual Healer • Master Trainer • Counsellor  and Researcher

Laxmi Rai (Maya) is a Nepal-based spiritual healer, master trainer, and researcher working at the intersection of energy healing, Vedic–Tantric practice, and Buddhist contemplative studies. She is a founding member (one of three core founders) of Shakti Punj Healing, where she plays a central role in shaping its vision, programs, and institutional development.
A senior healer training workshop facilitator, executive operations lead, program manager, coordinator, and curriculum & content designer, she brings a rare synthesis of professional leadership and spiritual depth. For over a decade, she has served as the close associate and right hand of Pujya Gurudev Adhishor, leading and managing all major trainings, retreats, rituals, and organizational initiatives—ensuring both operational excellence and the preservation of authentic spiritual transmission.
She holds Grand Mastership in Lama Fera and Holy Fire® Reiki, and her practice integrates multiple streams of transformative disciplines, including:
Kundalini Sadhana and psycho-spiritual transformation
Panch Tatva Jagaran (Five Element Awakening)
Chakra activation and subtle body alignment
Mudra Vigyan (applied psycho-energetic gestural science)
Hunkara Meditation (vibrational consciousness practices)
She is also highly experienced in conducting Yagya and Hawan, embodying a rare synthesis of Tantric energy work and Vedic ritual mastery.
Professional & Transformational Journey
Maya brings over 18 years of senior-level experience in the development sector, having worked with United Nations agencies and international/national NGOs (I/NGOs). In leadership roles, she specialized in training design, curriculum development, disaster management, and psychosocial well-being programs, impacting diverse communities through structured, evidence-based interventions.
Her academic background reflects strong interdisciplinary grounding: she holds two Master’s degrees in Sociology and Buddhist Studies, along with postgraduate qualifications in Disaster Management and Counseling from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), and Psychosocial Counseling from Tribhuvan University (TU). She is currently an MPhil scholar in Buddhism, researching Arūpadhamma and Dhyāna (jhāna), with a focus on consciousness, meditative states, and the transition from form (rūpa) to formless (arūpa) realms.
Her life reflects a profound 360-degree transformation—from a senior development professional to a dedicated spiritual practitioner and guide. Over the past nine years, she has immersed herself in metaphysical and contemplative disciplines, supported by intensive para-occult and spiritual training, integrating experiential realization with structured teaching and mentorship.
Her work represents a rare synthesis of academic scholarship, professional leadership, and disciplined spiritual practice, positioning her as a key pillar of the Shaktipunj spiritual community and an emerging voice in global contemplative and consciousness studies.
